The tenure of the Governor Mai Mala Buni-led caretaker committee has been extended On Tuesday by The All Progressives Congress (APC) for another six months.
The decision to extend Buni-led Caretaker Committee was taken by the National Executive Commitee (NEC) of the party at a party held at the Aso Rock Villa in Abuja.
As previously reported by Naija News, President Muhammadu Buhari, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, and other members of the NEC were in attendance at the meeting.

Addressing state house correspondents at the end of the meeting, Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai disclosed that the NEC also dissolved all states, zonal, and national party structures.
Also present at the press briefing were Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, and Secretary of the Caretaker Committee, Sen. John James Akpanudoedehe.
